Yes, it’s true, this will be the last BUCK con. But don’t despair – we’re going out with one heck of a bang!

With less than two months to go until the big event, our staff members are working flat-out to make this the best BUCK ever, but we can always use more help. In particular, we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to fill the following roles:

Quartermaster: Our Quartermaster is ultimately responsible for keeping track of all of our equipment and inventory at the convention, and will frequently liaise with our Technical Team and other departments. This role requires an extremely organised and driven individual with good communication skills, but if you’re up for the challenge, we want you!

Merchandise & Vendor Team: Do you have a keen interest in creating and sourcing quality goodies for sale at our convention? Or would you like to work closely with vendors, fulfilling their requests to help make their stalls a roaring success? Then the Merchandise & Vendor Team might be the place for you! We’re also looking for an outstanding candidate in this area for a management position.

Registration Team: From resolving any ticket issues prior to the con, to handing out wristbands and operating the front-desk on the big day, our Registration Team takes care of the official registration of our attendees and staff at the convention. Volunteers for this team should be helpful and easily approachable, adept at tackling attendee inquiries in a polite but professional manner.

Security Team: Safety is an important issue at an event as busy and exciting as BUCK, which is why we have a dedicated team of certified (SIA Licence or equivalent) Security members to take care of our staff and attendees alike. They are also a natural point of contact between our staff and venue personnel. If you have the skills to join our Security Team, get in touch!
